Course description

The Connect English Focus programs use an intensive, multi-skill approach. Students achieve success through focused, customized attention in speaking, listening, reading and writing. The Connect English Focus programs include English grammar development, academic reading and writing, real-world media projects, and planned social interaction events that are tailored to adult learners’ needs and interests.

The 12-hour-per-week English Focus Program prepares students for academic and professional success. English Focus offers students great classes and exciting material delivered by knowledgeable, caring teachers.

Each day of the English Focus class at Connect English consists of grammar or vocabulary presentation and review, transitioning into content-based projects and collaborative group assignments. All classes are communicative in nature, challenging students to solve problems and achieve goals through spoken and written communication with their peers and instructors. Students will be assessed and evaluated throughout the course and will receive course completion certificates at the end of their program.

The 18-hour-per-week English Max Program prepares students for academic and professional success as well as everyday situations. English Max offers students great classes and exciting material delivered by knowledgeable, caring teachers.
Each day of the English MAX class at Connect English consists of grammar or vocabulary presentation and review, transitioning into content-based projects and collaborative group assignments. All classes are communicative in nature, challenging students to solve problems and achieve goals through spoken and written communication with their peers and instructors. Students will be assessed and evaluated throughout the course and will receive course completion certificates at the end of their program.
