Package description

This course is designed to improve your Microsoft Access skills whether you have used or not used the software before.

Microsoft Access is a database management system which allows users to analyse large amounts of information and manage data more efficiently than Excel or other spreadsheet applications.

Designed for all abilities, our courses are broken down into three levels – introductory, intermediate and advanced, so you can be sure to find the level you require.

In the three courses dedicated to this program, you will learn step by step to create such databases and to process their data, ensuring you become familiar with the program environment and terminology.

What is included in this package?

These three courses will help you develop your skills from a beginner’s level to an advanced one. With these three courses you will cover:

  • How to design tables, set the properties of their fields and try the entry of data to them
  • How to link the individual tables with each other via relations and set the relation properties.
  • How to structure the entire database to be able to use it efficiently
  • How to select specific data from the created tables via queries, in combination with calculations to achieve new data
  • How to use special action queries
  • How to arrange the data from tables and those derived by queries using forms and reports in order to print them or to make the entry of new data easier
  • How to create macros that will automate the work in a database and will control whether the entered data comply with the set rules
  • The options of importing and exporting data in databases and saving their individual objects
